Success Story
NAB Project
Dr. Dimple and team of NAB with help from Corporate sponsorship undertook a focused program over a period of 6 months across three consecutive years, with the aim to help the visually challenged children in enhancing self-confidence, expression building & overcome communicating phobia along with reducing risk of muscle and bone disease as the children are normally not undertaking any physical activities.

She taught them individual, combined, joint and group movements creating a harmonious mix of activities undertaken by the children, teachers and handlers. The program created a structure of Applied Natya Therapy intervention in a systematic manner as part of handling, management and healing process for the students of NAB. It not only made the children aware of their body, introduce them to the movements but also trained the teachers, handlers and supervisors of these children will be able to administer DMT to the children in an ongoing basis.

The benefits through the six months training undertaken are many and long term in nature. This endeavor was to bring awareness as well as appreciation towards the healing benefits of dance & movements along with music. Continuous practice will help adolescents, teachers & care takers in areas:

  • Participate in group activities
  • Present in public
  • Enhance physical fitness and body toning
  • Empowering the teachers and care takers to continue ANTS interventions to their wards.
